Compound miter saw. I used to use a miter box but doing the manual sawing didn’t work well for me. I finally bought a miter saw. An air compressor and a nail gun. There are a lot of nail guns. You don’t want a framing nailer for trim😂 you’ll blow the wood apart. An 18 gauge finish has worked for me.

Hey Brad, I have a 18 gauge cordless brad nailer that I got about 6 months ago and it was working great, but for the last 2 weeks 1 out 4 Brad’s will not fully sink. I’ve tried turning it up but that doesn’t help and sometimes even makes it worse. Its getting real aggravating and I don’t know what else to try. Any suggestions or input would be very much appreciated Thank you.
I never use oil or wd40. Use a pencil and color in where your punch sits. Blow out excess (not with an airline) and without nails in the hold bib and fire the gun a few times this should create a slip surface for the nails. Using oil or wd40 will clog up the guide system.
